Our New Inverter/Charger
The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid. It has all the features of the MultiPlus, plus an external current transformer option to implement PowerControl and PowerAssist and to optimize self-consumption with external current sensing (max. 32A). It also has all the features of the MultiGrid with built-in anti-islanding and an increasingly long list of country approvals.
Key Features
- PowerAssist & PowerControl: Prevents overload of a limited AC source (generator or shore power). Battery charging is automatically reduced when an overload would otherwise occur. The MultiPlus-II can also boost the output of a generator or shore supply with power from the battery.
- ESS – Energy Storage System: The MultiPlus-II is the key component in a Victron ESS system, providing flexibility to combine with MPPT Solar Chargers or Grid-tie PV Inverters.
- Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS Function): In the event of a grid failure, the inverter automatically activates and takes over supply to connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds — computers and electronics continue without disruption.
- Two AC Outputs: The main output has no-break functionality. The second output is live only when AC is present on the input — ideal for loads that should not discharge the battery (e.g., water heater).
- Virtually Unlimited Power: Up to 6 units can operate in parallel for higher output. Two units can be connected for 240V split-phase output; three units for three-phase output.
- Remote Monitoring & Control: When coupled with a GX device (e.g., Cerbo GX), monitor and control your system locally (LAN) or remotely via the free VRM app and VRM portal website from any device.
- Solar Energy: Compatible with both solar charge controllers and grid-tie inverters. AC power remains available even during a grid failure.
