Deka / MK Battery
Deka Duration DD100-12H 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Heated Battery
Deka Duration DD100-12H 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Heated Monobloc Battery
The Deka Duration DD100-12H is a drop-in replacement for Group 27 and Group 30 VRLA batteries. Designed for remote industrial off-grid solar systems, outdoor UPS, marine, RV, and cold-climate installations requiring reliable performance in freezing temperatures. This 100Ah, 12.8V nominal LiFePO4 monobloc battery delivers 99% round-trip efficiency with 100% usable depth of discharge and includes a built-in low-temperature heater that automatically activates when battery temperature drops below 32°F (0°C).
Rated for 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, the DD100-12H combines exceptional longevity with year-round reliability for remote and seasonal installations. The sealed ABS+PC fire-rated enclosure with IP67 rating provides dust and water resistance for demanding outdoor environments.
Key Features
- LiFePO4 Chemistry: 12.8V nominal lithium iron phosphate cells deliver 99% round-trip efficiency with 100% usable depth of discharge.
- Built-in Low-Temperature Heater: Automatically activates when cell temperature drops below 32°F (0°C), warming the battery to 50°F (10°C) before charging begins — enabling safe year-round operation without external heating equipment.
- Integrated BMS: Internal Battery Management System provides short circuit protection, over-discharge voltage cutoff, cell balancing, and smart battery-to-inverter communication.
- 6,000 Cycle Life: Rated for 6,000 cycles at 80% DoD — delivering long service life with lower replacement frequency and reduced total cost of ownership.
- Drop-in Replacement: Group 27 footprint with M8 bolt threaded insert terminals allows direct replacement of existing lead-acid batteries. Supports up to 16 in parallel or 4 parallel × 4 series configurations.
- IP67 Rated: Sealed ABS+PC fire-rated enclosure for dust and water resistance in demanding outdoor environments.
- Smart Communication: Battery-to-inverter and battery-to-battery communication for optimized system coordination and monitoring.
