The inverter combines proven performance with new safety technology, making the Fronius Symo Advanced the future-proof choice for commercial photovoltaic systems of all sizes. The latest generation of the inverter with power categories ranging from 10 to 20 kW impresses with reliable arc protection through the new Fronius Arc Guard technology, SuperFlex Design for absolute freedom in roof planning and maximum yields through the Dynamic Peak Manager. Featuring ten models ranging from 10 kW to 24 kW, the Fronius Symo Advanced is the ideal inverter for commercial applications. The new Advanced versions combine the benefits of the Fronius Symo with additional value for states with Module Level Shutdown requirements including integrated PLC transmitter for SunSpec Rapid Shutdown communication standard, compliance with NEC pre-2014, 2014 and 2017, zero tilt mounting, light weight and field serviceability.

  • Integrated data communication - We are the first inverter manufacturer to offer a data communication package with fully integrated datalogging, WLAN, Ethernet, energy management, web server and a range of interfaces. The inverter is connected to the internet by network cable or WLAN - without additional cabling - and grants you the perfect overview of how the PV system is operating. Connection to third-party components is provided by means of interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or Fronius Solar API (JSON).   • Smart Grid Ready - Fronius inverters are ready for the Smart Grid of tomorrow. The inverters are optimally equipped to meet the technical requirements of grids in the future. A series of smart functions, known as Advanced Grid Features, are built into the devices. They include a number of control functions for optimum feed-in of reactive power and effective power. These functions are designed to enable stable grid operation even when the PV system density is very high and to prevent unwanted interruptions to feed-in and associated yield losses if grid parameters exceed the thresholds.
